The current Lawnscaping Challenge is an Inspired By challenge. I was inspired by the wonderfully talented Cathy Fong - her Valentine's day card, found here, is soooo cute!
For my card, I used Lawn Fawn's Plus One stamp set. The top sentiment is from a Stamping Bella stamp (Little BIRDIE Jane by Jane Davenport ) that I recently bought. The card was a request from my brother, so he told me roughly what he wanted the front to say. For the inside of the card, he wanted me to show the stork leaving without the bundle and show the bundle opened up. So I created a pop-up to represent the open bundle. (sorry no picture of the inside)
So go check out the Lawnscaping Challenge blog - you have until March 28th to enter!

Lawnscaping Challenge #29 Get Better Soon
Here is my second card for the Lawnscaping Challenge - Sketch (you can find a picture of the sketch on my previous post.)
I used the Lawn Fawn set 'on the mend' for this card. The tissue box is paper-pieced and adhered with dimensional foam. The turtle on the inside, as well as the bugs on the front, are coloured with copics.
Have a great night!
Lawnscaping Challenge #29 Smile
I am going to just barely get my cards in for the Lawnscaping Challenge - which ends tonight. This week's challenge was to use this sketch:
This card uses Blissful Botanicals. I coloured the flowers and leaves with Copics. I cut out the flowers and adhered them with dimensional foam. The heart on the sentiment comes from Plus One.
Now for my next post....

Dress-up Snowman Gift card holder
For Lawnscaping Challenge #26 the theme is Winter Wonderland.
So of course I wanted to use my LF Making Frosty Friends stamp set. Don't you just love this adorable snowman? I had trouble deciding how I should outfit this cute guy, so I made a card that allowed the recipient to choose their own hats, scarf, and mittens. They can add the top hat and mittens, or the ear muffs and scarf - whatever they want, because they are just stuck down with removable adhesive. The snowman is also paper-pieced, but glued down.

I included a pocket to slip in a gift card - a Tim Horton's card. Now they can enjoy the cold, snowy weather with a hot tea (or coffee) to keep them warm.
We finally have some winter weather - snowy and cold...brrrr. Hopefully it is packing snow!
Have a great day!

Thanks, Friend
I just love my LF stamp set, Making Frosty Friends. There are so many things you can make with it!
The Lawnscaping challenge, that I'm entering my card into, is all about Thanks.
I created my little scene of animals and a small snowman. The idea was to have it look like the animals created their own 'snowman' as a thank you to their special wintery friend. I just love the smiling socks and adorable bunny from the My Silly Valentine stamp set.
